After the loss of Singer Superstar, the sports world also lost one, in the baseball fields. The baseball hall of famer, Gary Carter lost his life last Thursday after his long struggle of having an illness affecting his brain. It was announced on the Carter’s family journal on a site called CaringBridge by the baseball star Gary Carter’s daughter herself, Kimmy Bloemers. Gary Carter ended his journey here on earth at the age of 57.
No question about Gary Carter’s performance in the baseball fields, he would not be one of the players to be listed on the baseball Hall of Fame. He was an American Major League Baseball catcher and he has been having his career in the baseball fields for almost 19 years already.
Gary Carter has made an average batting of .262, 324 home runs and had 1,225 of runs that he batted in. He played for four teams, the New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers, Montreal Expos and of course the San Francisco Giants. He also played for a lot of championships and received a numerous awards for his performance in every game. Carter won his world championship world series last 1986 with his team that time, the New York Mets. Gary Carter definitely made a lot of contributions, especially in the sports world so no wonder he is now receiving a lot of praises.
